Culinary tourism–often from the back of a bike–is my idea of a great vacation! Much of my cooking and many of the classes I teach have been influenced by the foods experienced in my travels. One can learn so much about a culture through their food, and so much about the people you met by sharing a meal together. My family and I have nibbled our way through street markets, enjoyed local fare, and cooked whenever we could in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hong Kong, Thailand and all over the USA.
